Joyce's Remembrance

Joyce Rowe, The Post Office. Aged 76 years.

Joyce had lived in the village for over 50 years, and had always been a loyal and generous supporter of various organisations. She was one of the founders of Harlaston Bowls Club, an organiser for the Farm Women's Club and played outdoor bowls for many years at Lullington. She entertained many visitors from here and overseas at the 4 Star Bed and Breakfast and will be missed by many people. A large congregation attended the funeral service and cremation on Monday 27th April.

Interment Service

The family and friends of Mrs Joyce Rowe gathered at St. Matthews on Sunday November 29th for the interment of Joyce's ashes. Revd Stewart conducted the service which included a family poem by Mrs Jenny Clarke in memory of her mother.
