Peter moved to Harlaston from Warton about thirteen years ago. He and June soon settled into their new home and began to participate in village activities and events, opening their garden every 'Open Gardens' event. He faithfully supported public functions held at Harlaston Village Hall. As a keen walker he tried to encourage fellow villagers to share his and June's enthusiasm by organising walks in and around Harlaston as well as further afield. His efforts resulted in the founding of the Mease Valley Walkers who meet every Wednesday morning.

Peter joined the Village Hall Management Committee in September 2001 and became bookings secretary in March 2008. He was a loyal, concientious and reliable committee member and we will miss him greatly.
