Sheila and her husband Vic came from London and moved into the village in February 1972. She soon became involved in the WI and showed her many talents.

She was a skilled dressmaker, loved painting and other crafts. She always won prizes with her breadmaking when there were any competitions in the WI programme. In the past she had also helped with the flower boxes by the church gates. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Vic and her daughters, Janet and Wendy.

May she rest in peace O Lord.
