Bowling 'em over!

Harlaston Indoor Bowls Club - A very enjoyable evening was spent last Saturday at the Village Hall, when about 100 members and friends gathered for the presentations of the trophies.

Music was provided by Paul and Ian, a bar was in great demand and excellent food was provided. There was also a raffle.

The chairman, Mr Peter Wilkins, organised the presentation of the trophies, and the winners were photographed.

Joyce Clarke Memorial Cup, Ladies Singles, Winner Anne Whitehouse, Runner up was Anne Richardson

Roger Mercer Trophy, Gents Singles, Winner Michael Grove, Runner up Mr E. Browne.

Dunnimere Shield, Mixed Singles Winner Stuart Robinson, Runner up Mike Grove.

White Lion Trophy, Mixed doubles Winners Richard Brown and Jim Keathley, Runners up were Anne Whitehouse and Jane Dalton.

Robert Hidderley Trophy, Triples Competition WInners Anne Richardson, K Hogg and Brenda Dalton, Runners up Alf Green, Stuart Robinson and Jim Keathley.

Round Robin organised by Frank Warrilow was won by Jim Keathley.

Because of all the work he has done for the club Stuart Robinson was made an honorary life member of the club.
