Revd. Harold Perrins of Barton under Needwood - aged 88 years.

Revd. Harold was our Rector from 1969 - 1978 and sometimes came back to help with our services even after he had retired. He loved his music, was very keen to have a choir, often playing the organ.

He acted as chauffeur, taking some of the village boys to cubs, scouts and music lessons. He and Rosemary restarted the Mothers' Union, which had members from all the local villages. 

Our syncere sympathy is extended to Rosemary, Stephen and Martin who wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended the funeral and provided the refreshments. £130 was donated to the stroke association.
