Notes for hirers of Harlaston Village Hall.
Keys.
The colour-coded set of keys provided are those you require for opening/ closing all external doors and gates.
Car park and pedestrian entrance (yellow).
Kitchen door (brown).
UPVC side door (green).
Main doors (green and yellow striped).
Tables and chairs.
Large and medium tables are stored in trolleys. Please ensure clean tables are replaced on the correct trolley and are placed vertically with top to top, leg to leg. Trolleys are then stored by the UPVC side door.
Chairs should be stacked no more than 7 high and moved using the specially adapted trolley. Chairs are stored next to the tables near the UPVC door. Do NOT store chairs in the bar.
Cooker and Microwave.
If required, switch on the cooker using the large round red switch. Please switch off at the switch after use.
The microwave is a commercial machine and is twice as powerful as most domestic microwaves.
Crockery and cutlery.
These items are stored in the two kitchen store cupboards. Please ensure they are cleaned correctly before replacing.
Heating and Hot Water.
Heating will have been automatically set to an ambient temperature during the period of hire. If you require less/ more heat please ensure that you have requested this as you hire the hall.
If you require hot water ensure you have requested this as you book the hall. There is no additional charge for this.
Do not attempt to change the settings on the master control.
Brooms and mops.
Wide brooms, dustpan and brush and a mop are located in the kitchen cupboard. Please do not use the cleaners cupboard.
Lights.
The switch for the car park light is located above the door of the building at the rear of the building.
Before you lock up please ensure that all windows are closed, blinds drawn and lights off.
